The Park is on the B3330 and is between Ryde and Seaview (Sat
Nav: PO34 5AP) or follow the brown and white Seaview Wildlife
road signs. On foot or by bike:
If you’re arriving by Hover or Ferry to Ryde we’re a half hour brisk
walk (10 minute cycle) from Ryde Esplanade along the scenic Seawall.
By Bus:
Catch the No.8 from Ryde to Bullen Cross (top of Oakhill Road) – buses
run every half hour – and it's an easy 5 minute walk from the bus
stop.
By Ferry or
Hovercraft - Choice of easy day-trip options:
There’s a passenger or car ferry from Southampton, Portsmouth
or Lymington or the ultra quick Hover from Southsea. By Taxi:
The taxi rank is at Ryde Esplanade and is a 5 minute journey to the
Park. Dotto Train (High
Season Only):
Catch the little train link from Ryde Esplanade to the end of Appley
Park – then it’s a short walk to Oakhill Road (the Park is two thirds
of the way up Oakhill Rd on the left).
