WILL I GO IN WITH THE ANIMALS AND CAN I TOUCH THEM
You will be in the company of an experienced member of the Animal Care Team at all times during your animal encounters. It is important that you adhere to instructions given to you. You will be guided regarding what animals you can safely get close to.
DO ANY OF THE ANIMALS BITE AND ARE THERE ANY DANGERS
The animals you come into close contact with are all used to human contact and do not normally display behaviour that is threatening to visitors. However, it must be recognised that no animal is absolutely predictable and therefore there is always a small amount of risk of being bitten or scratched. The Animal Care Team will continuously monitor the animals and the "Wildest Date" sessions are conducted in such a way as to reduce the likelihood of unpredictable behaviour.
"Wildest Date" participants will be offered disposable gloves and are requested to wash their hands after close contact with animals and animal feed. When inside animal enclosures, care must be taken and instructions given must be adhered to.
Please check with your GP or medical centre that you're up to date.
